Next, go do the rcon page and click connect. Either go to the current players tab to see who is connected or type rcon commands into the console.

Wrong password - 'An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine' Wrong Ip/port - 'No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx' Try using the game port as the query port, to reset it put the default ( which is 0 ) back in the box.

Just give's me an error saying the server info was wrong when its not/QUOTE Some hosts may use different query ports. This is an example from my server host - most hosts use the game port +1 but yours may differ.
The tool will automatically attempt game port + 1. imgIf you find out that it is different put it into the query port box to override it. Not sure if that's the issue though!. if i putted in Query ill get instant error, Some of your details are not filled in correctly.
Please check the settings tab.:( Connection Info: 93.190.141.101:28025 editline19th January 2014/editline so i put in the IP: 93.190.141.101 and PORT: 28025 doesn't work. Error:( This is most likley because your server details are incorrect please double check. If your details are correct your server host may use a different query port please check any information they gave you and enter it into the settings.

A better Admin interface. Like One button for invisible Cloth. And @ player info, the abbility to port to selected player. So there have to be a 'admin name' field under settings. Rly like your work and looking forward for opensource this. I have also ideas for a Oxide 'tab' like chat history and so on./QUOTE The problem is that built in chat is not repeated over RCON currently so no chat logging. If Oxide supports this though, id like to hear about it.
I don't have access to a server with oxide on so anyone willing to share a RCON password would be appreciated otherwise I will attempt to get it installed on my server to further test with it. As for the invisible cloth, there should be the option to 'give' that to the players in the current version, unless I have missed the items off the list?. Customer satisfaction is one of their priorities. I would think they would like to satisfy customers by allowing them to use this tool.

Just throwing my 2 cents in./QUOTE I have already contacted a few hosting companies attempting to do exactly that:) The problem with HFB servers I believe is because they want to launch their own bespoke tool - urlgiving them an incentive to block connections but I will try to find out more.
You need to have steam running. Use a fake account. You can create an account here: To change game resolution, press SHIFT when launching the game executable. Run Rust.exe if you want to run the game with DirectX9, run RustClientDirectX9.bat if you want to run the game with window exclusive mode (more FPS), run RustClientexclusive.bat To connect to the server: click 'Play Game', 'Modded', search for 'Kortal's Area' Or press F1 and use the command: connect rust.kortal.org:28015. You can also now favorite the server in the browser. Some plugins are installed, use /help when connected on the server.
